Zhang Xue Moto 820RR: how overseas buyers can actually get one

What happened

In 2026, a Chinese brand won the World Superbike championship for the first time — on the Zhang Xue Moto 820RR-RS, built around a self-developed 819cc inline-three. The road-going 820RR launched at a domestic price of ¥43,800 (≈US$6,100) — a fraction of comparable Japanese and European 800-class machines — and the brand logged 5,500+ deposits within 100 hours. Domestic demand is so strong the factory restricted sales to riders licensed for at least a year, and order books run months deep.

One more detail matters to us: founder Zhang Xue previously built KOVE, and the new operation runs on a Chongqing supply chain with 90%+ local content — our home turf.

The export reality, honestly

  • There is no official export network yet. As of July 2026, public reporting shows no overseas dealer program. Every 820RR outside China got there through domestic-market allocation — a trader bought a Chinese-market unit and exported it.
  • Allocation means premium and patience. With domestic orders backlogged, export units price above MSRP and depend on waitlist position. Anyone quoting you instant stock at domestic list price deserves suspicion.
  • Homologation is on you. Chinese-market units carry no EPA/DOT or EEC type approval. In most of the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia registration paths exist; in the US/EU treat it as a track/closed-course machine unless your local rules say otherwise.
  • No factory warranty abroad. Support runs through the exporter’s parts channel — which is why buying from someone sitting inside the Chongqing parts ecosystem matters.

How we source it

We are a Chongqing export company. For Zhang Xue Moto models (820RR, 500RR, 500F) we work the same way we do for any allocation-constrained unit: confirm a real slot first, quote you a landed-realistic price second, and only then take a deposit. Every unit gets our 18-point filmed PDI before crating, and ships with a spare-parts kit — which for a new brand is not a nice-to-have, it is the difference between a halo bike and a garage ornament.

A single 820RR also crates neatly on top of a mixed container of 450-class machines — several dealers are using one as the showroom magnet while the container pays for itself with the volume models.

Want a slot? WhatsApp us with your market and quantity, or send an RFQ. We reply within 24h with current allocation status — including “not available right now” if that is the truth.
